Having fun with my co-workers and serving the community. And all the free food I could eat. Especially the mistakes!

What I learned at Anderson's

Meeting new people every day was very exciting to me!

What I learned at Anderson's

Always smile, be polite and be on-time!

Best advice for a new trainee

The greatest part about eating a cone is not having the ice cream fall in your lap, so make sure you cone to cream base is solid and always have a really nice top!

More from my time at Anderson's

I remember closing one night on a Friday and some trainees were mopping the floor. The trainee comes to me and says “there are so many sprinkles on the floor, it’s so hard to mop them! I told this person to “use a little elbow grease”. The trainee comes back about 20 mins later and says to me; “I can’t find the elbow grease!”.

More from my time at Anderson's

It was a great experience and made so many memories and friends over the years. I still reference lessons learned and re-tell stories often. I also hold other restaurants to the same standards we kept at Anderson's. If the service is poor or the store is dirty ( I remember all the Lisa Sorrentino look spots! ) I don't give it a second chance.
